Better Gitlab Board: Edit Gitlab Board Issue Names with Ease
Better Gitlab Board is a free Chrome add-on developed by Samuel Chan. This add-on enhances the functionality of Gitlab boards by allowing users to edit issue names directly from the sidebar. With just a few simple steps, users can update issue names on their Gitlab boards effortlessly.
To begin, users need to click on the extension icon and input their personal access token generated from Gitlab. Once authenticated, users can navigate to any Gitlab issue board and click on any issue they wish to update. From the sidebar, they can edit the issue name and witness the changes take effect instantly.
While the current version focuses on updating issue names, the developer has plans for future enhancements. These include loading issue descriptions and rendering markdown previews on the sidebar, updating issue descriptions directly from the sidebar, and adding a dark mode for Gitlab.
